I painted this at one of the sites where I’ll be teaching a Plein Air Workshop soon. The Workshop starts on July 13. For 5 Saturday mornings we’ll paint at a variety of locations in Orange County, California.

I had done a painting here before (shown in the video), and returned another time when the weather was quite different. I was an appealing change in the scene and I couldn’t resist.

This is the same spot as the painting that was done in the video but for this one I was looking in the opposite direction.
