FARM, BLUE SHIRT, RURAL, BARN WINDOW by TOM BROWN

A blue work shirt had been left hanging on a nail inside this ancient Midwest barn window. Like the weathered barn itself, it had seen better days and now seemed forgotten and left behind. It was a compelling subject to paint. My eye was drawn to the textures of the wood, the color of the blue shirt inside the window and the array of farm elements like the barrel and the ropes.
