I love painting the landscape at sunset, when the magic sweeps across the hills during the final moments of golden sunlight.
Capturing the special light and color at this time of day is a unique thrill for any outdoor painter. But it has its own set of rules that are very different from painting at other times of the day.
In fact, I will be conducting a special plein air class for other artists at sunset this Saturday to help them share the experience. Wish you were there.
