CAN OPENER by TOM BROWN

“THE BEAUTY OF NO-TECH”
6x6 inch original impressionist oil painting
by Tom Brown

SOLD

There is something reassuring in simple solutions.

With all the hi-tech advances that we feel compelled to own it’s nice to find a simple no-tech solution that still works.

There is a beauty about such things when we look closely.

The way light glints off this hand-cranked can opener, or the way shadows stretch out as they move away from it across a tablecloth.

If the weight of the world is getting you down, step back and look to the past. It can be a step in the right direction.

Thanks for looking. Have a beautiful day!

step back and look to the past! Oh, that is so true! Did you see the recent Star Trek movie, it does that to you, it puts you in the past for a moment. And then it's all about the kids of the people in Star Trek past. It's too wonderful, not as wonderful as your work! Nancy
