SMALL AFFORDABLE PLEIN AIR LANDSCAPE by TOM BROWN

“UNSPOILED VISTA”
5x7 inch original oil painting
by Tom Brown

SOLD

This hiking trail leads into a Wilderness park where a group of us painted last weekend. It’s a nature-lover’s paradise, with incredible vistas and interesting wildlife to enjoy. We all had a wonderful day painting and came away with a new appreciation for the beauty to be found where we live here in Southern California.

If you live nearby, stop by and see me this coming Saturday. I will be showing my paintings in an Art Fair at the Irvine Fine Arts Center, along with many other artists. Admission and parking are free. There will be live entertainment, good things to eat and loads of wonderful art to view. The address is 14321 Yale Avenue, Irvine, CA 92604. This is the ONLY Art Fair in which I ever participate, and it will be worth your time to stop by. Hope to see you there.

Thanks for looking. Have a beautiful day!

Hi Tom..
I'd love to come as I'm sure I would enjoy it... probably won't be able to though.

I DID receive the lovely little painting I bought from you. It just sparkles with sunshine. I love it!! THANK YOU.

What is the surface you are using... is it a wood panel with no canvas? How do you "tone" it or fix it up so it accepts paint well... I love the way your brushstrokes enhance the drawing... Whenever I've tried using non-canvas surfaces, they seem to "slimy" for me, but I think the canvas texture on my work negates some of the lovely brushwork I see in yours.
