WOODPILE, DAILY PAINTING BY TOM BROWN

“RED’S SHIRT”
Daily Painting by Tom Brown
12x6 inch original oil painting

Email me for purchasing details: tombrownstudio@cox.net.

This painting was more than 30 years in the making, beginning with a series of plein air studies done in 1975. (See yesterday’s blog.) When I recently discovered those sketches I was motivated to complete the painting that I had planned so long ago.

A lumber man named “Red” left his shirt draped over the logs and I had included it in one of my sketches. I used that study as the basis of this long overdue painting. It’s finally finished!

I hope you like it.

Today’s thought:
Completing a project
