An 8x10 oil on canvas panel. This is a demo I did last evening at the workshop I was teaching. I used the palette knife for much of this, especially to "stucco" the buildings. This was done from sketches in an old sketchbook I did years ago when I was in Pesaro, Italy.

My new video is available!

This lesson is for beginners and professionals alike. I begin by explaining an easy method you can use right away to relax and have more fun painting. I’ll show you how to get in more practice without risking costly materials. And get better results too.
This video includes a full step-by-step demonstration from start to finish as I show you simple, fun shortcuts that I have been teaching for years in my sold-out workshops for other artists.
You can watch how I use a variety of brush and palette knife techniques that you can easily use in your own paintings. I even list my palette of colors so you can paint along with me at home.
In a way it’s even better than a live workshop because you can work at your own pace. And you can pause or rewind the video whenever you wish.
Click HERE for an instant download, and I wish you HAPPY PAINTING.
